How is TEP handled in Junction?
This is only applicable to our partners who offer a multi-step service, such as TEP. (If you are a freelancer offering a single-step service such as translation or copy-edit, this is not applicable to you.) Junction splits up TEP into two tasks: Translation and Copy Editing. This is done to adhere to ISO standards, as well as to increase transparency and to collect better data about each task. Because the two stages of TEP are divided into two separate Junction tasks, your TEP rate is also distributed between a Translation rate and a Copy Edit rate, the total of which adds up to your TEP rate.
If you have additional questions about how your TEP rate is distributed, please reach out to us.
How do I quit a task?
- Click on the task in Junction.
- Select “I need help with” on the bottom right.
- Then select “Quit Task.”
- Explain why you need to quit the task, in the available text box, and then click Send.
How do I set the time in Junction?
Junction will automatically calculate the time and date based on your computer's time settings. If you change the time on your local computer, then the time in Junction will also change to match it.
How can I see which entity a task is coming from?
When you are offered a task (or from your history), you can see which business entity the task was issued from in the far right column:
You may need to scroll over to the right to see this column. You can also use the Manage Columns link (in the upper right) to show or hide various columns to display just the information you would like to see.
