This article explains how to access the Innky (our annotation platform) and what you will see after you log in. It covers the login process, your landing page, and how your role determines which projects and tasks are available to you.
Accessing the Platform
Inkky is accessed through a URL provided by your system administrator. You cannot access the platform without this URL — contact your administrator if you have not received it.
Note: Access to projects, stages, and tasks is controlled by your role assignment. You will only see the projects and stages that have been assigned to you.
Logging In
Step 1
Open the platform URL in your browser. You will see the Okta login page. Enter your Username and click Next.
Step 2
Enter your Password and click Verify.
After a successful login, you are automatically redirected to the Projects page.
Note: If your login fails, you will see an "Unable to sign in" error. Check that your username and password are correct. If the problem continues, contact your administrator.
Your Landing Page
After logging in, you land on the Projects page. This is your starting point every time you use the platform.
From this page you can:
- View all projects assigned to you
- See your Stage for each project (for example, L1, R1, or Arbitration)
- See the number of Tasks available in each stage
- Click Start Queue to claim your next task
Use the Search field at the top right to filter projects by name. If you have many projects, use the pagination controls at the bottom to move between pages.
Note: The Start Queue button is only active when tasks are available. If a project shows 0 tasks, the button will be disabled. Only one task can be claimed at a time — once you claim a task, a timer starts and the task is locked to you until you submit it, exit it, or the timer expires.
Understanding Your Role
Your role determines which actions you can take on tasks. There are three roles on the platform:
- Annotator (L1, L2, etc.) — Completes annotation tasks by providing initial responses or labels.
- Reviewer (R1, R2, etc.) — Validates annotations from a previous stage. Can approve, reject, or modify work.
- Arbitrator — Makes final decisions on tasks with conflicting reviews or unresolved issues.
Your role is assigned by your administrator before you access the platform. If you believe your role is incorrect, contact your administrator.
